Overwatch 2 High Ping: Check the Data Center with NetGraph

Run the Overwatch 2 ping test to compare US West, Europe, Brazil, Japan, Singapore, and Australia. Mappings are `regional`; US Central, Korea, and the Middle East are explicitly unsupported without a matching probe.

On PC, press `Ctrl+Shift+N` during a match and record the data-center code beside the IP, in-game latency, and time. Blizzard staff have explained that normal matchmaking cannot lock a particular facility; party composition, rating, population, and off-peak conditions can affect placement.

Compare two or three matches with the same mode, party, and time window. A changed code points first to a different match location. If the code stays fixed while both measurements worsen, check Wi-Fi, uploads, and ISP routing. A wider P10–P90 range can disrupt ability timing even when the median looks normal.

Common questions

Can I choose an Overwatch 2 data center for ranked play?

Normal matchmaking does not let you lock a specific data center. Party composition, rating, population, and queue conditions can affect placement.

How do I identify the data center used by a match?

On PC, press Ctrl+Shift+N during a match and read the code beside the IP in NetGraph. Codes and available locations can change.

Why is PartyPing different from the in-game latency?

PartyPing measures browser RTT to a probe; the game reports the current match path. Use the first to compare directions and the second to confirm the match.
