Run the Hunt: Showdown 1896 ping test before risking a Hunter and loadout. It compares round-trip latency, P10–P90 variation, and missing replies toward regional reference probes. These probes are not Crytek match servers, so the result is a route comparison rather than a promise of in-game ping.
Separate high ping from unstable timing
A consistently long route leaves less reaction time when peeking, trading at close range, reviving, or extracting with a bounty. A wide P10–P90 range can instead make movement corrections, doors, weapon swaps, and hit feedback change pace inside one Mission. Missing replies point to loss or severe instability. Test twice, then compare with the selected Hunt region and the moment the symptom occurs.
Compare regions, but respect coverage limits
PartyPing exposes US East, US West, Europe, Asia, South America, and Oceania directions. Russia appears in Hunt's official regional discussion, but this product has no Russian probe and says so instead of substituting Frankfurt. Crytek has discussed regional servers repeatedly; the underlying cities and routing can change, so every mapping stays at regional confidence.
How the Hunt rating works
PartyPing uses tactical engineering bands: S below 20 ms, A below 40, B below 60, C below 100, then D. The tight stability preset reflects Hunt's high-stakes, short gunfights; it is not a Crytek grading table. Crytek's 2025 high-ping-separation numbers were experimental, the system was temporarily disabled, and the June 2026 roadmap said a new solution was still in development.
